Recipe: Ghetto Tuna Casserole

Looking for something quick, easy & cheap for dinner? Ghetto Tuna Casserole has become one of our favorite recipes. 

Ingredients:

2 Packages Chicken Ramen Noodles
1 Can Tuna - drained (We prefer in water)
3/4 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup*
1 Handful Shredded Cheese*
2 Tablespoon Mayo/Miracle Whip*

*Add more or less as desired

  1. Boil & drain both packages of noodles. Set aside.
  2. Mix one chicken ramen noodle seasoning packet with the mayo and cream of mushroom soup. (Save or toss the second seasoning packet.) Add drained tuna to mayo/soup mix.
  3. Combine noodles with seasoned mayo/soup mix. Mix well, while adding shredded cheese.

Serves 1 moderately hungry person and 3 small hungry dogs or 1 very hungry “Mr. Wonderful” ;)

This entire dish can be made in the microwave. I personally recommend the large Micro-Cooker by The Pampered Chef - Boil and drain the noodles, add the rest of the ingredients and enjoy! If you’re a frugal shopper you could probably make this recipe for about $3.00.
