Team Britney - Count Me In

Wow. While I am just as disappointed as anyone by the former Queen of Pop’s purported “comeback” I think people need to cut her a little slack. Seriously. Am I or have I ever been a huge Britney fan? No, not really, I admittedly like some of her songs and I’ve always enjoyed watching her perform. (I do think her antics since becoming a mother are scary; but that’s a whole other story.)
After watching her VMA performance I really feel for her. She looked so sad and lost. Of course the media has to nit-pick and criticize every little detail they possibly can. Flabby abs? Puh-LEASE! Granted, a far cry from what she once was, but she looks pretty damn good for recently having two kids.
It was almost painful to watch her latest performance mostly because I just feel SOOO terrible for her. I cannot imagine what it must be like to be at such a low point and have the entire world watching your every move, just waiting for you slip up and fail. I really hope she gets through this tough time in her life, cleans up her act, makes a true comeback and proves everyone wrong. Go Britney!
