Spoiled Dogs Part 2: (Even Better) Pimped Out Puppy Palace

Mr. Wonderful was at it again, proving he REALLY does love my boys! 
It must’ve been the beautiful weather this weekend that got us motivated to clean out the dog shed. Last year Mr. W. filled it with a whopping 8 bags of cedar chips so the boys would have a warm shelter on cold days. That was a good option for the time being but I wanted to have an even warmer and more secure place for them in the dead of winter. This way I won’t be paranoid thinking I am a bad dog-mommy if I leave them outside while I go to work and what not. My options are either shove all three dogs in a medium sized cage in the basement and hope they can hold it all day - OR - make an AWESOME Puppy Palace with damn near all the comforts of home outside where they can go in and out as they please!
After shoveling out 4 garbage cans of cedar chips we built a small insulated bed with carpet lined drywall and about 5″ of cedar chips for the floor. (Only one bag of cedar chips this time = much more economical!) The Puppy Palace features an homemade automatic feeder, water bowl (not pictured), a warming bed, and a heated master bed…complete with throw rugs no less! We even got a timer so I don’t have to trot my lazy ass outside in the bitter cold to unplug the heaters! Yay!
Spoiled you say? Oh come on…..
