  1. Clip coupons

  2. Monitor & conserve utilities (Still trying *not* to turn the heat on!)

  3. Share my AOL account expenses

  4. Share a cell phone plan

  5. Rent a portion of my house

  6. *Try* not to eat out too often; make frugal meals at home

  7. Go to Iowa for gas - Illinois gas is almost always $0.10 more and I’m in IA once or twice a week anyhow

  8. Shop at discount stores - Gordman’s, T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s, etc.

  9. Check out the sales & clearance racks first

  10. Research prices & shop online

  11. Rolled over remaining debt on 0% credit card (Almost debt free aside from my mortgage!)

  12. Frequent the library or borrow from friends instead of buying books

  13. Subscribe to Netflix rather than buy or rent movies elsewhere
