Short Term Experiments for Long Term Improvement
Inspiring, Life - - Posted on February, 25 at 8:37 pm
I have often thought about conducting short “experiments” if you will, as a personal exploration project. Like a lot of things, I have too many thoughts and too few actions. I ran across another rather new blog that focuses on 30 day experiments using a Plan-Do-Check-Act method for gradual overall life improvement…
You can read the whole article here. It’s quite simple, yet fascinating. It goes along with my idea of continuous personal improvement. Small changes for big improvements. Here are some things I may consider when/if I decide to try a 30-day experiment:
- The Atkins Diet (Not really my style, but it seems to be working for Mr. Wonderful and his friend.)
- Track our spending (We are actually already doing this, but I haven’t reported it on here.)
- Fitness Program (Yeah…been there, done that, lasted not very long!)
Okay, okay, let’s not get ahead of myself. I think the mention of fitness ruined it for me.
Let’s start with categories and go from there. Maybe some of you lurkers can add your comments and idea. You never know, maybe I’ll try it!
- Health & Fitness
- Professional/Work
- Personal/Hobby
- Household
- Pets
- School
- Social
That’s enough for today. My creative juices aren’t flowing right now. Feel free to chime in if you have any ideas to add.
